CAP Tutors was born from a mother’s deep desire to support her children’s growth both academically and emotionally.
Our founder, Pamela, is a mum, an Early Childhood Specialist, and a passionate community Educator. She understands first-hand the challenges many working parents face long hours, school pick-ups, managing homework, and the need to find reliable, nurturing support for their children.
What began as a home-based effort years ago to support her own children’s learning journey has now grown into a trusted hub for families across Croydon and beyond. With a unique blend of care, lived experience, community focus, and a faith-led vision, Pamela and the team are building CAP Tutors as a place where every child no matter their background or ability is seen, supported, and given the chance to thrive.
Through our wraparound care, CAP Tutors offers a warm, structured, and inclusive environment where children can complete homework, enjoy a healthy meal, grow in confidence, and access tailored support including SEND provision and sensory learning. We work in partnership with schools, parents, and local organisations to ensure every child receives the care, consistency, and encouragement they need both in and out of the classroom.
